Jmare007 Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 The Ascension vs The New Age Outlaws added for the Royal Rumble. I guess we know when Will is gonna take a piss break
Matt D Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Hopefully this show ends with Orton coming back because he's really not a "surprise" royal rumble entrant no matter what WWE might think.
Strummer Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Sting!! Lol Cena with the little kid!
Strummer Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Per twitter during the main event a little kid was crying over Cena being outnumbered and both Hunter and Steph broke character to console him. Ha
hammerva Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Watts would have slapped the little kid and then explained heat to him Patton style Seriously that is a cool thing for Steph and Triple H to do.

Nah. Orton is probably gonna have the biggest entrance pop at the Rumble, it'll be a nice "surprise".
Coffey Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 That place came unglued at the end. Sting, for sure. Brock was on another level. Holy crap, Brock as a babyface that took no shit would be awesome.
goodhelmet Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 The Ascension vs The New Age Outlaws added for the Royal Rumble. I guess we know when Will is gonna take a piss break Guaranteed.

Nah. Orton is probably gonna have the biggest entrance pop at the Rumble, it'll be a nice "surprise". I think I'd save Orton's return until Rollins cashes in his briefcase. Orton comes in, RKOs him to a huge pop, and you set them up for Wrestlemania with Orton having cost him the sure title win.

Johnny Sorrow Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 I watched that ending of RAW on youtube and it was fucking awesome.
goc Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 If the Ascension is done, I think Konnor just needs a new hairstyle to make a fine fake Mongolian. Wrestling is sorely missing white guys with silly haircuts claiming to be Mongolian.
sek69 Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 To paraphrase the WWE Creative parody account on Twitter: between Sting, Hogan, and the nWo this was a great episode of Nitro.

Thinking exactly the same thing!
Zoo Enthusiast Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 I hope HHH explained to the kid that they are just entertainers who play bad guys on TV.
iamthedoctor Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 The Ascension vs The New Age Outlaws added for the Royal Rumble. I guess we know when Will is gonna take a piss break Pretty obvious Outlaws will job then. Honestly if thats all they are being brought into is job then Id rather they just not come back and just have someone else current in WWE put assention over.
Zoo Enthusiast Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Hopefully the Outlaws win. Every team in the history of wrestling could lose to the Ascension and it wouldn't help anyone.
El-P Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 The New Age Outlaws on PPV in 2015. Against two clowns looking like fourth rate indy parodies of DemoWarriors, from 30 years ago. How exciting. Anyway, another episode reminding everyone how stars of the past where so much bigger and better than stars of today. This company is so desperate. About Daniel Bryan jobbing on his first day back on the job… I dunno. I don't think it's *that* bad honestly. At this point there's absolutely nothing organic about the Roman Reigns push the the stars. He should work the "Chosen One" gimmick and turn heel. The Klik reunion was probably the highligh of this show.Mania looks as unexciting and uninteresting as it has looked in years right now. I have *zero* interest in Sting. Taker vs Wyatt, if it happens, will be horrible and ridiculous. I don't see how Bryan could get a storyline/match as good as last year's. Brock leaving makes his last match not intriguing at all. Hopefully Rusev will get something nice...
El-P Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 To paraphrase the WWE Creative parody account on Twitter: between Sting, Hogan, and the nWo this was a great episode of Nitro. More like a shitty episode of Nitro from 2000, really.

The Man in Blak Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Last night's Raw was the first Raw I've watched in months. I don't feel like I missed much at all. The Bryan/Wyatt match had a couple of nice moments and it's great to see Bryan back out there, I guess, but the rest of the show seems mired in the same creative slump that they've been in since the Shield breakup (or, really, since the first Raw after Wrestlemania). Nice to see that Shawn Michaels is still as obnoxious as ever, though.
The Chief Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 On Austin's podcast today, DDP mentioned that Scott Hall wants to train for Kevin Dunn's position. I can't see them taking him in a million years, but it's interesting to think about since he is a HHH guy.

Hopefully Rusev will get something nice... The Outlaws doing the job at the Rumble makes no sense. If they were to beat The Ascension, the fans would buy it. If they lose to The Ascension, the fans would expect it due to age and time out of the ring. Speaking of which, any hopes of trying to make The Ascension seem serious were crushed during the nWo segment. I'm not *too* bent out over Bryan doing the job as Bray needs some big wins for the Taker build-up but it's another one of those head scratching decisions where why job him out on his return match back to RAW. The reaction Reigns got as a whole versus the Sting reaction should be evidence enough that the Reigns build-up has been completely bungled. Show's Yay. A Uso vs The Miz. Again. Poor New Day and their shitty gimmick. Poor Cesaro/Kidd/Rose. Three guys that continue to get overlooked it feels like. Why do we have the IC title again? Rusev crushes Truth in 43 seconds on is 43rd birthday. Outside of the last 5 minutes of the show, nothing really got me hyped for the Rumble at all. Maybe it's because I'm jaded but after LU, ROH, NXT, and NJPW this weekend I think it's more of the options available to get my fix in along with the Network.
Coffey Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 If you only saw the backstage Clique segment (which was funny, IMO) and the last 5-8 minutes of the show, you probably thought this show was awesome. It was everything around those parts that was boring, unfunny or bland. I don't care about Bryan losing. I do care about it being because of more THEDEMONKANE involvement. I wish that dude would just go away already. Take Big Show with him.
