Statfreak101
I wonder how many takes it took Austin to get through plugging Cougar life.com. LMAO I like when he has to talk about a dude's flag pole being in full ass salute. LOL.
Cross Face Chicken Wing
I laughed my ass off (and cried a little at the same time) when Austin opened part 2 of the Lawler pod by talking about wrestlers drinking in the car on the way to shows, back in the day when you could do that because nothing bad would happen! rovert
Tremendous news. Austin gave his cohost the Stone Cold Stunner: No mo forced banter. Elsewhere Lawler talking about the Kaufman angle was on of the podcast moments of the year.
Superstar Sleeze
Tremendous news. Austin gave his cohost the Stone Cold Stunner: No mo forced banter. Elsewhere Lawler talking about the Kaufman angle was on of the podcast moments of the year. O HELL NO!!! My brother and I were dying of laughter every time, Austin would say "Mo in stealth mode, fly one the wall, recording audio WHOOP-ASS!" He better keep saying that with the new guy. Austin is fuckin' hilarious though. My brother and I get a kick out of his working man gimmick and his constant "Is that a straight shoot?" He is definitely my go-to podcast right now as he is wildly entertaining, but still dropping that 411 and breaking it down for all us working cats. Minds_Eys
Thanks to Stone Cold I have about 15 episodes of The Art of Wrestling on backlog.
shoe
I wonder if it had anything to do with how SCSA wanted the stuff about the troops edited out of the last Lawler show.
goodhelmet
what happened shoe?
shoe
They were talking on air at the end of the Lawler 2 show of possibley bombing or when the show airs bombing I'm drawing a blank on which Country. SCSA goes Mo we better edit that out in case. Then SCSA starts the take again where they can edit all the war talk out and it would be a clean cut. shoe
The country is Syria. Plus SCSA said speaking of assholes. They were talking about Jim Carrey and said speaking of assholes and started about the bombing.
Statfreak101
Currently my favorite podcast...but I am curious as to why Mo is no longer with him!
rovert
Brand Spilt If you listen to the Steve Austin podcast via the podcast feed then that podcast feed has been rebranded as "The Steve Austin Show Unleashed." You will need to subscribe to a separate "The Steve Austin Show" feed for the Jim Ross interview. "The Steve Austin Show" airs Tuesday and is PG. "The Steve Austin Show Unleashed" airs Thursday and is uncensored. They will be two unique shows.
Lust Hogan
Good show with Jim Ross! Ross is really funny and tells a lot of great stories. Nothing groundbreaking regarding his retirement but was a lot of fun listening to. If I remember correctly I think he just thought it was time to go. No bad words against WWE. I could listen to an old school Ross podcast all day.
WingedEagle
Thanks for the heads up Rovert. Will Thursday's show be an interview format or just Austin riffing and just being non-PG for an hour?
cheapshot
Does anyone know if it was Memphis that used the invisible wrestler gimmick that Ross touched upon the Austin Podcast? Also does any footage exists of the Bob Cook and his yellow trunks incident? I have a morbid curiosity to see it. Again a fun show, which seems to be the case the majority of the time with his podcasts.
hammerva
The Jerry Lawler memphis stories on the Part 2 version was tremendous: 1. Kimala thinking that Jerry Lawler was putting a bannana on his stomach instead of a moon 2. The stories about Jerry and Andy Kaufman was just amazing. Andy willing to spend $300 for an ambulance to take him after the Lawler piledriver is brillant. And then staying at the hospital for a couple days even though nothing was wrong with him
JerryvonKramer
Andy Kaufman is probably my wrestling hero. Genius.
cheapshot
Enjoyed this weeks show with Joey Styles. Never knew how Joey entered the business which is told on this show. Thumbs up!
soup23
The Styles interview while fairly basic was good. I just started listening to this pod the past couple of weeks and can really blow through the interviews because of the casual nature of them. I like it much better than Colt's podcast personally. El-P
I just listened to this for the first time, with Sean Waltman. This is fucking great. Austin is awesome.
cheapshot
The Waltman show(s) are excellent. I love Steve just chewing the fat with someone; and unlike most interviews of this ilk, the wrestler actually respects the host meaning them hopefully being more open and honest. cheapshot
This week Steve has Bruce Prichard on chewing the fat. Worth a listen as they discuss Paul Boesch and Bruce's start in Wrestling, which I found a fun listen.

Timbo Slice
Just started going through the back episodes and finished up the one with Chael Sonnen talking about his love for pro wrestling growing up. And then he blew my mind by reminding Austin about Don Owen's success in Portland, since Chael is an Oregon native. Fucking ay, this is awesome. Can't wait to get to the fly. I could listen to Sasso do voices and talk about 80's wrestling for hours.
