(BP) Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 They haven't announced a celebrity inductee yet. It was going around that it was Mr. T. Quote
Matt D Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Dave thinks that Hall's still on the table. Quote
Jmare007 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Carlos Colon is the next inductee according to the SD! spoilers. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I guess that is making this the Jake Roberts Show then for me. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Hopefully Hercules Ayala doesn't take this opportunity to attack mrs. Colon again Quote
The Chief Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Hmm, Carlito is out of the company and Primo doesn't really "exist" anymore. Who inducts Carlos? Quote
El Boricua Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Apparently it'll be Carlito, Eddie and Orlando doing the induction. Quote
Cox Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Carlos Colon is the next inductee according to the SD! spoilers. I'm surprised they inducted that youngster. Quote
Timbo Slice Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Who had Carlos going into the WWE HOF before the WON HOF? Quote
El-P Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Carlos Colon is the next inductee according to the SD! spoilers. I'm surprised they inducted that youngster. Hey, a Royal Rumble 93 reference. We're so damn old. Quote
El Boricua Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 A lot of people on the net have been making the youngster joke about Colon's induction. It's been an interesting response around the message boards, different parts youngster jokes, congratulations, surprise and indignation. Quote
shakla Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Carlos Colon is the next inductee according to the SD! spoilers. I'm surprised they inducted that youngster. Someone asked Meltzer on WO Radio a year or so ago why Gorilla called him a "fiery youngster". Dave said it was an in-joke of sort that Monsoon would say about "unknown" or foreign wrestlers. Can't remember exactly. Colon was the oldest entrant in that Rumble, just slightly older than Flair, Backlund and Lawler. Quote
Bix Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Who had Carlos going into the WWE HOF before the WON HOF? He's been local promoter in PR for years so it's not surprising. It wouldn't shock me if this swayed some of the younger wrestlers who vote for the WON HOF, too. Quote

I remember that...it wasn't clear if he was saying Monsoon was being self-deprecating. Monsoon was business partners with Colon so it's not like he didn't know who he was. Quote
The Chief Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Didn't Carlos and Gino work out a deal to get WWWF wrestlers work in Puerto Rico and vice versa? Quote
goc Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I know that Monsoon worked for Carlos some as a wrestler too. I watched some early Puerto Rico the other day and he and Haku were there doing an interview to build up a tag match against Buddy Landel and Terry Gibbs. Quote
Kronos Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Man, who the hell inducts Warrior? Warrior. Their we go Jim Hellwig inducts the Warrior. There is no "Jim Hellwig". There is only Zuul. . .I mean, Warrior. Also, that pic of Kaitlyn is pretty damned hot. Quote
Matt D Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I love Warrior, after WM 8, telling all the reporters that his name is Jim and Warrior is just a character he plays. Quote
Kronos Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Reading all y'all's posts about Warrior makes me want to watch The Warrior Show pilot again -- it's a classic, where he gets in the faces of some scared little emo rock stars, says "fuck" about a billion times, and makes them work out until they puke. It's actually pretty inspiring. Aside from his neanderthal racist/homophobic comments, I am a Warrior fan. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 Mr. T definitely deserves to be in. I'm sure it's Hogan that inducts him. Quote
Guest The Jiz Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 I love Warrior, after WM 8, telling all the reporters that his name is Jim and Warrior is just a character he plays. Where can I find that footage? That sounds hilarious. Quote
