Jetlag
Here is my review of Shirai/Baszler http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/37268-io-shirai-vs-shayna-baszler-stardom-022317/?hl=baszler A solid spotfest altough not the kind of wrestling I can get into on a deeper level. SPS
I know I'm behind but no worries, I'll keep a backlog from the matches given if I'm late. I should have my review of Luger vs Spivey from Wrestlewar 1991 in a couple of days. SPS, I picked for you a classic feud, probably the biggest in Montreal during the summer of 1985. The follow-up to the St-Jean-Baptiste Massacre between the Rougeau Brothers and the Garvins, from International Wrestling/Lutte Internationale. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDpEGKjbi50 So I finally got a chance to watch and write my review for the 3'rd round of this Secret Santo and posted my review at the link below, http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/40972-ron-garvin-jimmy-garvin-vs-the-rougeaus-international-wrestling-07151985/ My overall impression summary here was, "So overall this match was a very good fun brawl that once you understand the backstory fits perfectly and makes it that much better. The Garvins were getting their asses handed to them but yet were cunning enough to get The Rougeaus to get themselves DQ'd out of the rage over the previous attack from The Garvins. The crowd was hot and loved The Rougeaus and it really made every little thing that much more captivating as the crowd wanted to see The Gavins pay and despite not getting the win, The Rougeaus got a moral victory and some revenge while leaving the door open for a return where they could finally get their win over The Garvins. Fantastic watch, I'd give it ***3/4." Thanks again to SirEdger for the great pick and I look forward to the next round of trades.
SirEdger
Yeah, once you understand the context surrounding the St-Jean-Baptiste Massacre, you fully enjoy the rivalry between the Rougeaus and the Garvins. The Loser Leaves Town Match to cap off the feud is even better than this one. Really worth the watch as well! My review of your match you picked for me should be up this week! Matt D
Week 4! You guys know the drill. Even if you're behind, make sure to give a match for your partner. I tried to make sure no one had someone they had before but this might be the last week of me doing that. Chad's had to drop out for now at least. Tim Cooke is his mystery replacement. Laz
I still owe Astro a review. Been busy dealing with a wedding in the family and the aftermath but I'll get it done.

Cap
Beast I saw on the first you said you haven't watched a ton of modern new japan, so I thought I would through this NJPW/RevPro match your way and see if you have seen it. Its Keith Lee vs Tomohiro Ishii Global Wars UK last year. I think there are mixed feelings about it out there, but I really liked it. It was pretty easily my favorite Lee performance from 2017, probably ever. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x68q34a If you have seen this before let me know and I will get something else for you. SirEdger
For you, NintendoLogic, I'm going with some old school action from 1979; David Von Erich vs The Spoiler from the Sam Houston Coliseum! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb_YfRFCTfk
NintendoLogic
My last three picks have been puro, so it's time to switch things up. SirEdger, I don't know how much lucha you've watched, but this match did very well in the DVDVR Best of the 80s voting.
SirEdger
Oh, nice. I haven't watched much if any lucha libre from the 80s so this will definitely be a nice discovery!
SPS
Alright for Matt Franklin who I've been paired up this week I've chosen a great match I rewatched recently, Kiyoshi Tamura vs Tsuyoshi Kohsaka from RINGS 06/27/98. It's a good length so no rush to watch it but it's a great shootstyle calling card if you haven't seen a ton of the style or even RINGS itself. Hope you enjoy it http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xvn0wa
Richeyedwards
Richeyedwards it's time for some fun flippy shit http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/21979-kota-ibushi-vs-jigsaw-vs-nick-jackson-vs-el-generico-chikara-king-of-trios-032809/ link to my review, I have watched it before a few years ago but didnt really remember anything apart from the double moonsault. it was exactly as you described dumb fun flippy shit. Now for you I see your fun flippy shit and in return will give you even more fun flippy shit with CIMA don fuji and naruki doi vs ryo saito genki horiguchi and dragon kid. This is is the same feud as the famous roh match and happens 8 months prior to that match with this being near the start of the feud while that match is the beginning of the end as it starts CIMA's face turn. This match is often thought to be better than the roh match by dragon gate fans. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7MshERNRCoWVWRxVEpNanROZFk match starts at 1 hour 23 mins I missed the recommendation from concrete1992 earlier in the thread here is a link to my thoughts http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/40978-vordell-walker-vs-too-cold-scorpio-pwe-280112/
C.S.
I'm behind on last week's match (but I'll get around to it, I promise!), and my last two partners haven't reviewed the matches I sent them (unless I missed their posts), so I'm wondering if I have crappy taste in matches. I'll PM you in the next day or two, topropepodcast.

That's unfortunate, but it at least gives me more time to watch and review the sweet-ass Rockers/Powers of Pain match soup23 gave me last week. Migs
AstroBoy This is a bit of a forgotten classic in my mind. These guys would go onto have matches on bigger stages, but I'm still really fond of this one.

Jetlag
You're not alone with that opinion, friend. For those interested, I was assigned the 2017 match between Virus and Prayer and return I gave Matt D the 4/16/1989 AJPW Junior Title match between Masanobu Fuchi and Shinichi Nakano, which can be found at the RealHero archive. Beast
CapitalTTruth, you have WWE Network so I'm picking 1-2-3 Kid vs. Blake Beverly from the 7/5/93 Raw. It's surprisingly good for the time given and time period in WWE. Let me know if you've seen it and I'll pull something out. I'll catch up on my match from last week and this one soon.
