From today's F4 Weekly. I'm a little worried about Wrestlemania now.

 

It's entirely possible that maybe they should've gone with a slightly longer trial period and held the event at the end of that. Right now, there are definitely questions, however, about the network being able to handle WrestleMania, and someone who works for WWE told us in an unofficial capacity that there's no way WWE can fix the problem without another big live stream test. That person advised ordering the regular PPV to avoid any issues

Hopefully all hands will be on deck to make sure this goes smoothly. I want this to succeed because it's a venture not worthy of being taken down by these kinds of problems.

I hope they are smarter than thinking the HOF ceremony could be used as the last big test for the stream before Wrestlemania...

They should just run another live stream test. Like how they always had those Road to Wrestlemania Specials on USA. (Summerslam spectacular, etc)

If you sign up from Europe for this, can you use it on your PS3 or Apple TV or do you have to use it with your laptop using a US proxy?

Put the proxy settings in your router and you should be good to go on your apple TV etc.

So it is geoblocked? I have my own proxy but it's slow and capped at 50 GB/month (so using it on my router settings is something I don't want to do). I read somewhere that you only needed it to sign up. I will wait for the UK version to be released late in the year ... unless they somehow decide to put the entire WCW Saturday Night run there. WWF Superstars may actually do the trick too though.

At this point, there are restrictions on how to access the Network. It's a similar restriction rule to blackout policies in pro sports. Right now, it's I believe US and Canada only, so if you run off an international proxy, you will indeed get geoblocked.

It's not available in Canada. Has anyone been able to fix the frame rate (film-like look) issues that people on other boards have described?

Looks like all of the 2013 episodes of Smackdown are up now. RAW is there back to September and looks like it's still growing.

 

People on Twitter are saying there's WCW Worldwide episodes from 1993 there now, but I don't see them.

A few Qs:

• Has the cursing on the 2000 Russo WCW PPVs been bleeped/muted? Not just on his Bash at the Beach promo, but I remember Spring Stampede or something like that having a lot of muted audio (including when Hogan was looking for Bischoff backstage) on the WWE On-Demand version.
• How has Jesse Ventura/Gary Michael Capetta audio been handled? I think Meltzer said there may be an issue, but with this platform rather than home video, it may differ.

The Roku 3 wasn't working 4 me on VOD as of this morning. I'd get an error message after 2 minutes of great video. So I'd save your money on the Roku.

there is no issue with the Roku, the issue is with VOD, Roku is simply AWESOME

I found a service (www.unblock-us.com , free trial for a week too) that only requires a DNS change so I could set it up on my Apple TV without speed/performance loss.

I have used that and it works flawlessly. I know it's going to be realiable, because a lot of people I know use it to get NHL Game Center to change where they are to get every game of their team. I will be sticking with it, until the Network comes to Canada.
