Al
Cena's Lance Russell impersonation was tremendous.
Strummer
Cena has legit fantastic comedic chops. He should be a big star post wrestling. Southpaw was not as funny as I expected but it was still pretty great over all
Robert S
They have begun uploading older NXT shows from 2012 and 2013 (Full Sail stuff only so far, i.e. only the "new" format).
sek69
I think in current WWE canon anything pre Full Sail was a different show than today's NXT.
stro
I think in current WWE canon anything pre Full Sail was a different show than today's NXT. Correct. I don't think anything game show era NXT counts except the first and second seasons, and only because of Nexus/New Nexus.
Zoo Enthusiast
Regardless, I am glad they are uploading them.
Jimmy Redman
It is kind of awkward in hindsight for the catalogue that they have two shows called NXT that are completely different things.
Migs
The game show ones are actually something that would probably be fun to binge.
sek69
It's funny that they consider them separate shows, but the numbering starts at 122 for the "current" NXT. That show is clearly being presented as the start of a new era so you'd think they'd reset the counter for that. Maybe they can start billing it the longest running weekly episodic streaming program in internet history or whatever.

Stiva
Regardless, I am glad they are uploading them. They're flying through them too. I guess they spend the first part of the month getting the old uploads ready and then fire them out in the last week as they're preparing for what comes next. sek69
Jerry Lawler stated he completed getting control of the Memphis library from 77-88, and plans to sell it to WWE for them to put on the Network.
Bix
Jerry Lawler stated he completed getting control of the Memphis library from 77-88, and plans to sell it to WWE for them to put on the Network.I don't buy it. Unless Jerry Jarrett was registering copyrights on the shows, which aired without copyright notices when that mattered, then the '77-'89 stuff is public domain. sek69
Seems that it should either belong to him and/or Jarrett or WMC since it was their studio/staff filming it, right?
Bix
Seems that it should either belong to him and/or Jarrett or WMC since it was their studio/staff filming it, right? It's less that and more the copyright notice thing, which I had no idea was an issue until a few years ago. If nobody registered those shows, they're public domain. Which is probably why Highspots and whoever put that stuff on Amazon now have Memphis up without a care in the world.
sek69
Something like that would be a pretty glaring oversight on pretty much everyone's part (insert joke about Jarrett being to cheap to pay to register the shows). Even AWA shows have copyright notices and Verne was behind the times on practically everything.
goc
Well if they are public domain there is nothing stopping WWE from putting them on the Network it just means Lawler isn't going to get any money from WWE unless they do it out of kindness. peachchaos
only upside to this I can think of is maybe Jerry has some stuff that's not out there yet? and if the 70stv guy has the highest quality near-masters, they should probably at least get the best available and throw him a bone
DMJ
So, did they just air Southpaw Regional one time only? I can't find it anywhere on the Network. I've been searching the usual spots (I even tried the Search function itself) but can't locate it. I know I can get it on YouTube, but I just find it really hard to believe they would produce a special that got some decent buzz online and then not actually keep it available. Any tips on locating it on The Network?
SteveJRogers
I don't think it was intended for the Network. Its like the old JBL & Cole Show and Z True Long Island Story vignettes where its YouTube Channel only.
DMJ
Ahh, I didn't research it too much - I just assumed it would be on the Network because why the hell would it not be on the Network? Thanks.

Matt D
In this case it was all a big ad for KFC and they wanted it on YouTube for the general public.

They actually had a section on the Network devoted to their Youtube stuff for a while. I don't know why or when they got rid of it.
