Flyin' Brian Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 What is everyone using to keep track of when they have loaned out talent to other promotions? I'm just using a text document right now, but I'm looking for something better. Spreadsheet? Some type of calendar?
Boon Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 I use a spread sheet with 4 tabs; 1st sheet is Roster with all dates of loans etc; 2nd Towns and information; 3rd feuds, all planned out week by week with TV date and Big Show date; 4th is week to week TV.
goc Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 There were lots of great UK guys that never worked in the United States.......that is something that I think may need to be addressed at the NWA Convention. Would like to bring this back up for discussion. And bringing in guys from Mexico too.
Grimmas Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Jack Tunney wants to bring in as much international stars as possible.
Beast Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Open to discussion about adding a few international stars each month to the new guys draft. Or have it be its own draft.
Boon Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Open to discussion about adding a few international stars each month to the new guys draft. Or have it be its own draft. Would the UK/Mexico guys just be touring?
Beast Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Open to discussion about adding a few international stars each month to the new guys draft. Or have it be its own draft. Would the UK/Mexico guys just be touring? Yeah, let's do that.
El Boricua Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Open to discussion about adding a few international stars each month to the new guys draft. Or have it be its own draft. Would the UK/Mexico guys just be touring? I also think it should be tours.
Flyin' Brian Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 I'm cool with that. Handle them like the freelancers?
El Boricua Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 I'm cool with that. Handle them like the freelancers? Maybe. Unlike freelancers, these guys would not be available for dates during the entire month. It should be more Japan style I would think, where they come in every couple of months for a week or two stretch and then head back to their home promotion..
Grimmas Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 So I did a weird finish for the Flair-Martel main event of the show I posted today. I would love some feedback on it, as I am unsure if it's a cool or horrible finish.
Beast Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Just heard fromdkookypunk that he needs to drop out. Are there any waitlist guys that would like Mid-South?
goc Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Yea, your booker just called it already. If MidSouth is open or does open, I would be more than happy to take it over.
JerryvonKramer Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Right but the deal I just made with him to bring in Jyd on 8/16 is binding.
Beast Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Yea, your booker just called it already. If MidSouth is open or does open, I would be more than happy to take it over. That's fine, just have to talk with him to finalize it.
goc Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Right but the deal I just made with him to bring in Jyd on 8/16 is binding. I don't see why. I had tentative deals in place with Dylan to use Mando but that doesn't mean I can force JHawk to go along with it.
dawho5 Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 I have all my loan out dates listed in a file. I have it open whenever I am booking.
El Boricua Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Yea, your booker just called it already. If MidSouth is open or does open, I would be more than happy to take it over. That's fine, just have to talk with him to finalize it. We should confirm with rainmaker that he's staying put. I think he is, but it's best to have it clearly stated just in case.
JerryvonKramer Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 If those deals I made with Mid-South aren't binding I'm probably through with this whole thing myself. So my next month is fucked up because someone else drops? Why should that be the case?
Beast Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Nothing has been decided. I'd be shocked if whomever takes it over won't be willing to work with you.
goc Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 You mentioned ONE date. If the new booker of Mid-South has different plans that dkookypunk why should he be handicapped? Why can't you just try to work it out with him instead of saying he HAS to do it?
JerryvonKramer Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 I don't even want to renegotiate those deals. Ted and Murdoch coming in for August was setup before we started. It's just too much commotion to keep track of if every time someone drops out, the deals have to be worked over. Default should be they stay and if new booker wants to be a dick, he cancels.
goc Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 So it's too much for you to just say "Hey here are the dates I worked out with dkookypunk, does this work for you?"
