It's just too much commotion to keep track of if every time someone drops out, the deals have to be worked over. Default should be they stay and if new booker wants to be a dick, he cancels. It's not about being a dick. I don't think it's fair to tell him he HAS to do it. Just send him the dates already agreed upon and ask him if it's cool and go from there. We know Derek is not going to talk to Punk to get the low down of everything before hand? You know he's not going to look through the trade deals or do anything? Sure he might just start booking without consulting anyone, but I know I wouldn't and most others wouldn't either. dawho5 Posted July 27, 2015 Report Share Posted July 27, 2015 I think it should be up to the person who has the dates listed because they are on the other end of the deal to communicate with the person who takes over in this case. It's not renegotiating, it's just common sense that you let the person know that there was an agreement in place for wrestler(s) to be with you on certain dates. I'm guessing that most will be pretty flexible as far as letting their guys go wherever on one shot dates and the like. Him telling parv he's ridiculous for dropping if those deals don't stay, yet he was the first to cry about not getting the promotion he wanted and almost dropped before the game even started. I honestly don't care either way how this goes down, however now that I know goc was working on a deal with Mando I'm willing to work with him to come up with something that works for both parties. Honestly, there are many guys I've loaned out for nothing in return simply because either the exposure for the worker is good or I simply don't need a replacement for that period of time, while other deals (Dory and Brisco working both WWA and WWF, Zbyszko and Andre for specific dates) make better sense. I'm pretty sure most people here will be willing to work with anybody on previous deals. If it is open, I would love to step in with that roster and take control. If it is open, I will definitely speak with Beast and discuss our plans moving forward. If someone has dates that are set for Mid South talent (WWF and others), I simply ask for your dates so I can make a plan accordingly. My feeling would be that he was an assistant first and therefore would have first dibs. Failing that, I don't see why it wouldn't be yours.
